DILINAME is the acronym for the DIgital LIbrary of National Movements in Europe.

It is a project of the Centre Maurits Coppieters (CMC), a European foundation affiliated to the European Free Alliance (EFA), currently gathering 11 institutions from 6 Member States of the European Union (EU).
The main justification for the creation of DILINAME is to be found in the CMC’s strategic objective, namely observing, analysing and contributing to the debate on European public policy issues, with a special focus on the role of democratic-nationalist and regionalist movements, in accordance with the principles of the right to self-determination of all peoples and the defence of national, cultural and linguistic diversity within the European Union.
In the context of this framework, and in its initial phase, the aim of DILINAME is to provide its visitors with documents of relevance, whether historical or current, for the creation, development, philosophy and contribution of socio-political proposals coming from the various movements that defend the rights of stateless nations that form part of the CMC.
The initial selection of documents of this nature will attempt to provide an overview that will facilitate greater understanding of the history of each of the political movements that form part of the CMC, and the demands they defend.
People
DILINAME has been created with the intention of reaching the general public and thus helping to facilitate a greater understanding of the movements it covers and encouraging a greater awareness of their history and efforts. Nevertheless, it is particularly aimed at those in the academic field, in political foundations or involved with nationalist and regionalist forums who are working on or studying the various aspects of democratic nationalist and regionalist movements in Europe.
